Weekly Job Roundup: Korea EPS, UPS 100,000 Hires and Deadlines Closing This Week

The week's biggest job stories — Korea EPS 7,200, UPS 100,000 seasonal hires, Krystal's 10,000+ jobs — plus the government-job deadlines closing Tuesday and next Monday.

This was the week the hiring headlines got bigger — and the deadlines got closer. South Korea's EPS intake for 2026 took shape, UPS announced one of the largest seasonal hiring drives in the United States, an Indian facilities company promised more than 10,000 openings, and Forbes flagged three remote roles paying around $100,000. At the same time, several government-job notices in Nepal are about to close — 14 listings on Tuesday alone. Here is the week in one read, with a link to the full story in each case.

The biggest stories this week

South Korea to hire 7,200 Nepalis in 2026 under EPS. The Employment Permit System remains the main legal route for Nepali workers heading to Korea, and the 2026 intake figure is now on the table. Anyone aiming for it goes through the official EPS process — the EPS-TOPIK exam, the roster, and selection through official channels. Read the full story →

UPS to hire 100,000 temporary workers for the peak holiday season. Reuters reported on 7 October that UPS will take on 100,000 seasonal workers across hundreds of US locations to sort, move and deliver parcels through the late-November to early-January peak. The number is around 9% lower than in 2025 — the second straight year of a smaller intake — even as UPS cuts up to 30,000 permanent operational jobs in 2026. One thing to be plain about: these are US-based roles. They are not a route Nepali applicants can simply walk into without a US work visa. Read the full story →

Krystal Integrated to create 10,000+ jobs across 25 cities in six months. Krystal Integrated Services Ltd says it plans more than 10,000 employment opportunities across 25+ cities between October 2026 and March 2027, in facility management, sanitation and staffing, for skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers. The company also says it has already generated 9,500+ opportunities in FY2026-27. This is a company-issued announcement carried by Tribune India, so the figures are the company's own. The roles are India-based, and no application link or fee was announced. Read the full story →

Forbes flags 3 remote jobs paying $100k and growing 35% in 2026. Forbes highlighted three remote roles paying around $100,000 and growing fast. Top-end remote work is real, but it is competitive: these roles reward experience and proven skills, and they are not entry-level openings. Read the full story →

Closing soon

According to the vacancy notices listed on Growentix, the deadlines stack up fast from here. Tuesday 20 October sees 14 listings close: Belaka Nagarpalika in Udayapur (9 posts, including Public Health Officer, Veterinarian, Driver, Psychosocial Counselor, Social Mobilizer, Law Officer, AHW, Office Helper and Nutrition Facilitator), Balephi Gaunpalika in Sindhupalchowk (4), and the Road Board Nepal Executive Director post (1). Sunday 25 October brings 3 Dhankaul listings to a close. Then Monday 26 October is the big one: 21 listings close, led by Nepal Police with 334 seats across four posts — ASI Janapad (211), Office Assistant Cook (83), Barber (15) and Cleaner/Sweeper (25) — alongside 14 Dhankaul posts and 3 Parshuram posts (AHW, ANM and Office Helper). Check each notice itself before applying; the deadline in the notice is what counts.

What to do next

  • Pick the deadline that fits you and read the full notice — eligibility, documents and the exact closing date.
  • Apply only through official channels: the Public Service Commission, the EPS process, the Department of Foreign Employment, or a licensed manpower agency with a demand letter.
  • Get your documents ready early — citizenship, certificates, passport and photos — so a deadline does not catch you short.
  • Never pay anyone for a job. A demand for payment to apply or to secure a post is a red flag; walk away.

That is the week: big numbers abroad, and real deadlines at home. The EPS story rewards preparation; the Police and Belaka deadlines reward speed. Pick the one that fits you, check the notice, and apply through the official channel.
